AOHVA MAKES FORMAL SUBMISSION TO SOUTHWEST ALBERTA RECREATION MANAGEMENT PLAN (SARAG)

The Southwest Alberta Advisory Recreation Group (SARAG) is a multi-stakeholder group established by Alberta Environment and Parks to provide direction and input to a Recreation Management Plan (RMP) for the Porcupine Hills and Livingstone regions.

The group (including limited AOHVA representation) met between May 16 and August 8, 2017.

Strengthening Southern Alberta Wildfire prevention measures

Alberta introduces OHV Helmet Law May 15, 2017

As of May 15, 2017, CSA-compliant helmets must be worn by OHV users when riding on public land. Public land means Crown land, including areas that have been designated for public OHV use, public roadway and highway rights-of-way.
