Alberta’s off-highway vehicle community is outraged after finding what appears to be a trap set for off-roaders.
Around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, police were notified about an incident in the Porcupine Hills east of Fort Macleod where a group of dirt bikers encountered barbed wire strung between trees along off-road trails. RCMP spokesman Cpl. Curtis Peters confirmed on Monday that the incident has been reported to the RCMP detachment in Fort Macleod and police are investigating.
